Dead Battery

Whenever I leave my iPod Mini unatended for a number of days. Say 3. I lose all of my battery. Not a single drop of juice is left. I do completely shut it of, and even leave the hold button on so I don't inavertedly turn it on and drain the battery. It still has warranty, am I doing something wrong. Thanks a lot!

    No, you are doing nothing wrong. It does not turn off like this. Here's more information.

    Thanks, But it still seems weird that the battery is completely drained after a week of not using it even though it is in a deep sleep. hmmmmmm.

    My 5G iPod was off for two and a half weeks and the battery meter was showing full when I turned it back on. I did charge it before not using it.
