processor card swapping

HI

I got a g4 mdd 1,25 single cpu and a g4 mdd dual cpu 1,25 fw 800.

Dual fw800 can't boot in os9, but I need os9 in order to run my audio hardware and software too. I know the culprit is just on the mobo of the fw800, cause processors are quite identical (g4 7455). Can someone tell me if it is technically possible to swap the processor cards of the 2 machines (the dual processor card into the mdd 1,25 single and vice versa). If yes, what about boot rom versions?



Please let me know if this workaround will solve the problem

    Do you really need to boot into OS 9? If so, have you tried selecting your OS 9 folder as the startup disk? If not, why not just run OS X with 'Classic' mode?

    Yes, the system does not see os9 system folder, that's present on hd!

    The g4 mdd dual fw800 can't boot os9 because the mobo does not allow it.

    Finally the software and the audio card do not work in classic mode.
