Apple/Vingle/Pussycat Dolls/Bandmerch.com
Sorry I couldn't find an appropriate place to discuss this, but I think it is very significant that on iTunes when you look up The Pussycat Dolls, they have a link on their group photo to "Buy cool PCD gear here!", which is a link to Bandmerch.com.
It strikes me as odd, number 1 that Apple has a link out of iTunes to a web page that sells non-Apple apparel. And number 2... is Apple splitting revenue with Bandmerch.com or do they have a controlling interest in this company...
IF they have an interest in that company, they are branching out into all of the traditional lines of additional revenue streams that support music-making entities. What's next, jewelry, shoes, magazines? Weird. A buck's a buck, right?
