What are you trying to sync? I've never used iSync with any of my iPods.

iSync is for syncing computers to each other via .Mac.

Use iTunes to sync your iPod with Music, Calendars and Contacts. Go to iTunes preferences when your iPod is attached to your computer. Click on the Calendars and Contacts tabs to set what you want synced.

iSync used to do this but Apple changed it. At first I didn't like it but it now seems to make more sense after using it for awhile.
