does anyone know what it "i" in alot of apple products stants for, if anything? my friends and I were trying to figure it out but we couldnt think of anything.

    "i" think it stood for internet in the first iMacs. It just caught on from there.

    yup.. it was originally 'internet', and then now just kind of a badge showing "consumer" and "simplicity" i guess



    i wonder if we'll see Apple pull of another idiotic move and abandon the "i" moniker which peole instantly recognize...



    iMacBook anyone?



    the "e" in eMac was obviously for Education.
