Does Aperture run under Rosetta?

I know Apple claims that none of the Pro apps will work in Rosetta, but http://www.macintouch.com/#tips.2006.01.18 shows that it's possible. Otherwise, how did the reviewer get timings for Aperture from a Core Duo machine? Does anyone know the truth?
