Macbook Pro Battery Life: It Should Be Okay
There was a bit of a "scare" that Macbook Pros have no specified battery life because it is possible that the Intel Core Duo laptops have a "battery power leakage" issue.

However, this would be specifically related to a Microsoft USB2.0 driver that causes exorbitant battery drain.

So it looks like if this is the main source of uncontrolled power drain (the microsoft driver) then this is good news for the Macbook Pro.
Anyway just wanted to share this stuff from Tom's Hardware. We'll have to wait nonetheless for shipping Macbook Pros to see what real-world battery life is like.

Battery life is a concern, but I'm just anxious to get mine in my hands as soon as I can!
I have the feeling that the Rev.2 machines will be substantially better, but I need more than my iBook gives me now and I'm sure the MBP will deliver that.
Already have my extra gig of RAM coming from Crucial. Two gigs will rock!
I've been worrying about battery life ever since I ordered my MBP on the 10th.
Thank you so much, because now I don't have to worry.
So what are we looking at now? 4 hours real-time?
SJ said it should have similar battery life to the PB's, but I didn't really trust that.
