I think they should offer a black iMac, period. Is Apple having another KeyNote and releasing new products April 1st?

it's sort of funny how much fodder for rumormania steve jobs put out in his last keynote. 8lb ipod w/ 10" screen, more ipods on the way, "see you soon", 30th anniversary...

Well...maybe a better way of looking at this...how much people are looking for something to turn into something significant...

    or...stating the obvious...

"we're constantly developing new iPods and someday we'll release them"

    A common, casual, cordial colloquialism.

    A simple fact...perhaps a "hint"...perhaps nothing at all.

Based on the popularity of the black iPods, I would think Apple would give users the option. I don't expect to see a revival of the colors ads and definitely not flower power or blue dalmatian, but giving the option of black makes sense especially for home theatre. I'd still go white if I was getting an iMac though.

I think I'd buy a black iMac. I don't really care for the iMacs much... but I think i'd go for it. That'd be sexy.

How would this be for cool: a 30th anniversary black iMac, with a 30" screen and built-in TV tuner. The ultimate living room Mac, for only $3,000. Upgrade to 40" for $4,000.
