Ipod To Car DVD Question

Has anybody connected their ipod to a car DVD player? I know there are cables for a TV connection but my DVD is hardwired into my car's glove-box and to much trouble to disconnect for the video connection in the back. I have a small av plug in the front of player and I wonder if this would work to receive video from ipod.

    definitly. you can either a: buy a/v cable from apple for 20 bucks or b: plug the red RCA plug into your TV's yellow RCA jack. plug the yellow RCA plug into your TV's white RCA jack. plug the white RCA plug into your TV's red RCA jack. i use method b. just use a standard a/v cable
