Power supply in a Quicksilver
Hi everyone,
A friend has a Powermac G4 Quicksilver and since last week it doesn't start. He's just taken it to the shop and they say it's the power supply.
I have several ATX pc psu's lying around and I was wondering if I can use one of these, or if has to be specific to the mac. If it's just for propietary connectors I guess I could cut the wires and put them on a working ATX psu, is that right?
By the way, how much does the original psu cost?
