ok ive downloaded several tv shows [not from itunes] and when i catorgorize them as tv shows they dont show up. but if i put them as movies then i can see them but in the movies section. is this a bug? or am i doing somehting wrong?
You can call it a bug or a limitation. The iPod needs other "tags" in the video file for the TV show and episode name in order for it to show up under TV SHOWS. iTunes only lets you change the tag for TV SHOW and does not let you change the other needed tags.
The solution is to leave it as a movie or use the free program Lostify to add the missing tags yourself.
