freelance rates NYC?

Hi,

I am wondering what other designers are charging for design/and or production on freelance print jobs ( not web) . I have over 12 years experience.



Also wondering if anyone out there works with agencies in NYC and what they are getting rate wise. ( I always think they are not telling me the truth, I caught one agency lying to me, so therefore it is very hard for me to trust any of them.

    I would think the AIGA has going rates taken from surveys. In Ontario the RGD puts out a salary guide every year for information like that.

    thanks but I posted to ask other designers in NYC what they are doing.

    i know about the books but i would like real life numbers.
