Something really big?

On the apple web site for the SoHo store

apple.com/retail/soho

it says that the theater is going to be closed from feb. 21 to april 21.

Thats a long time and it says "We?re setting the stage for something big. From February 21 through April 21, the theater will be closed. Please pardon our appearance as we make it bigger and better than ever. Free workshops will still be held throughout the store. Seating is limited. Ask a Mac Specialist for details. Our new Theater opens April 21."

I wonder if this has anything to do with the upcoming event?

Maybe something to do with a home entertainment system sampling area?

that would be super-cool. Or maybe something with a balcony. i love balconies.

    Apple tries to be clever like this all the time.... all it means is "we're making out theatre bigger."



    Doubt it has anything to do with product announcements.

    It is a real pain, though, since the Soho theater is a real center of mac activity in NYC and losing it for a couple months means the rest of an already overcrowded meeting place will be packed.



    Anyone know of any other Mac hangouts where New Yorkers can meet, talk, and learn?
