Hello,

I created a dvd using iDVD.

Then I made a copy of the dvd on a PC using rimage's software.

when the dvd copy was done, I put the dvd in my Powerbook and it doesn't see the dvd....

Any ideas???

[mod note: O-mac - I edited your title to reflect your question - I'm not really sure why you popped DVD Studio Pro and four question marks in there, so they got nuked. Hopefully this will bring a few more page views to your post. Cheers!]

If the original DVD you made works on your Mac then the fault obviously lies in the software you made the backup with on the PC.

I'm not sure how we could help you with that.

After googling Rimage, I don't see that they make stand-alone duplicating software. I do see that they make duplicating hardware and the software to drive that hardware.

Could you explain what software and hardware you were using on the PC to make the backup copy of your iDVD project?

    I used Rimage's own software...

What hardware were you using to duplicate the disc?

IIR, you have to use 9660 as the filesystem instead of the windows default joliet. That disk would work in PC's and maybe newer DVD players, but macs have trouble with it. (That use to be the case at least.)
