How to make and mount images of mixed CDs?
I'd like to make images of some of my old games so I don't have to keep inserting the CD all the time. It's easy to do if the game does not have CD audio. When it does, though, Disk Utility and Toast do not seem able to realize that both the audio and data parts are from one CD and choose to treat them as separate volumes. DU's "create image from device" does not work like it sounds, unfortunately.
There's a free program called Firetarter FX that uses cdrdao to make bin/toc files, but it's not able to mount them.
It seems like this should be really simple.
This was before CDs came with copy protection, I'm sure. Does anyone know of a solution?
