Futures by Zero 7 from forthcoming album, The Garden.

I just learned Zero 7 is releasing the new album in May, however I haven't seen any U.S. release date.

hmmm Had Springsteen Darkness at the Edge of Town on my iPod this morning. I am in the process of putting my old LPs (round black vinyl discs used by a previous civilization) on my Mac . Very fun job

I've been messing around trying to play "Another Sunny Day" on the guitar today.

I'm really digging the Artic Monkeys' disc hype and all. I'm also really digging my band's new demo Oh, and if anyone wants to make a boy happy they just added my band's first cd from way back in like '94 or something on itunes. The band's name is . My favorite song on that record is copsucker. How can you go wrong with a chorus that goes, "copsucker, pigf**ker, transi hooker, what a looker. You can read a review here.the dopes.

I saw Holy Fuck open for Islands and Metric last month....

both openers were fantastic. Metric was mediocre, as expected. I don't understand the hype... its not like they're Stars or something

Sophia Coppola used that song in her last movie, "Lost in Translation." Good song. I can't wait to see her next movie, "Marie Antoinette," which incidentally uses "Age of Consent" from New Order in its trailer. The poster before you is currently listening to New Order's previous band, Joy division.

    It's all related!

She actually edited that at my job. Right now I'm listening to "It's a Mistake" by Men at Work.

Yeah, that's how I got to know that Death in Vegas was actually Dead Elivs rebranded! (Lost touch with them during 2000... or so).

Heck yeah. Although New Order today has nothing to do (music-wise, not literally) with Joy Division. That is one... interesting metamorphosis.

    Seen Donnie Darko?

Unless they did some crazy rebranding for the US market, they've always been called Death In Vegas. 'Dead Elvis' was the name of their first album.

They're an amazing band to see live, even since they've stripped it all down.

Actually, they were first called 'Dead Elvis', but due to some objections they rebranded (or renamed) themselves to Death in Vegas and named their first album as Dead Elvis.

The band were formed in 1994 by Fearless and Steve Helier and signed to Concrete Records under the name of Dead Elvis. Due to objections from the Elvis Presley estate, they were forced to change the name, and instead Dead Elvis became the name of their debut album.

Hmm. So much for my complete discography ... didn't realize that they'd released the single 'Opium Shuffle' under that name before re-releasing it under the DIV name.

    Bastards, ruining my obsessive collecting.
