Hey everyone,

Does anyone know the number of hard drives that a 2002 Quicksilver can handle. Currently, I have two internal. But I would like to add up to 4 internally if I can. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

well if you have a mirrored drive door one, it is 4, and they can be up to 128 GB or so each

I have the QuickSilver 2002 ED which is the version before the mirrored doors. The large drive ( i.e. > 128 GB) issue was solved with the Quicksilver 2002 edition. Are you sure that it can support up to 4? What about mounting space, since there is only 2 slots on the bottom?

There are two slots in the bottom and two on top, I have 4 80s in my mirror drive door G4. I bought mine in AUg of 2002, so the 128 gig issue might be solved, but i never looked into it.
