Hey people. I am trying to see how much I could possibly get for my old mac and monitor so that I can put it towards the purchase of a MacBook. Any ideas would be great. These are the specs:

Original Specs:

Sawtooth AGP G4 Tower:

350Mhz G4

DVD-ROM Drive

64MB PC 100 Ram

10 GB 5400 RPM HD

Ati Rage Orion Video Card (2X AGP) with 16MB VRAM

2 USB 1.1 Ports, 2 Firewire 400, 10/100 Base T E-Net, 56K V90 Modem

Mac OS 9.2.2

Powermac G4 Sawtooth AGP Upgraded Tower:

1.4Ghz OWC Mercury Extreme G4 with 2MB L3 Cache

Pioneer 110BK Dual Layer Superdrive (16X)

1.5GB PC 100/133 SDRAM

80 GB 7200 RPM HD

Radeon 9800 Pro 2X/4X AGP Video Card with 128MB VRAM

Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer Rev 3 card on 9800 Pro

PCI Card: 3 USB 2.0 ports, 2 Firewire 400

Mac OS 10.4 Tiger

iLife 2006

+ External Que! Firewire 8x4x32 CDRW Drive

+External Firewire/USB 2.0 Hardrive enclosure (Blue LEDs)

+ 17inch Apple Mitsubishi Diamondtron CRT Display (Max res 1600x1200 @60Hz) does 1024x768 @ 100Hz.

Any ideas as to possible price point for all of the above would be most appreciated. The machine runs like a dream and is much quieter now with the VGA Silencer and runs cooler. I need mobility more so than a desktop hence, the MacBook.

Thanks!

I'd recommend you keep the monitor..unless you don't have space for it.. without the monitor I'd say you could get $750-850 conservative estimate... Including the monitor won't add much to its value, and a second screen would be really handy imho
