    yes yes. even with the smaller HD and such. you will want the g4. It has a bit more room for growth and it can run some programs that require a G4 (I think garage band is one of those)

    I'd go for the G4 as well, especially since it might have wireless already installed. And an important note, the screen resolution on both is identical (1024x768), so the 14" is really just an awful screen blown up larger.
