Cellphone Sync etc.
I have a Samsung SPH-A740 cellular phone and I was wondering if anyone knew of a program or driver to access the phone.
I bought a USB sync cable on eBay for it (for only 1 cent) and it connects and the Mac can see it (it shows up in System Profiler) but that's it. There doesn't appear to be anything on the Samsung to download for this phone.
I found an app called OnSync (costs $10) which can access the phone and sync contacts but I'd like to be able to also access photos, ring tones etc. Another program, DataPilot, has a Mac version now but for my phone it does not support ringtones and photos is only supported 1-way (phone to computer) plus it costs over $40.
I spent over an hour scouring the web trying to find anything that would work. Anyone have any ideas, or is this just the way it is?
