As of today, students and higher ed customers can get a free Nano with the purchase of a Mac. If we Macbook buyers had waited until today we could have had a free Nano.

    if you wait another five years, you might be able to buy a used one from a school for $50.

    I was pretty stoked to hear the new promotion... I too think I'm gonna get a 30GB iPod along with my new MacBook. Upgrade to 2GB of RAM and be on my way. T'was a nice little birthday present from Apple don't you think. Just turned 20 today...

    You could also just resell the iPod on eBay afterwards.

    I already have a 20GB 4th Gen. I wouldn't mind selling that to get a couple bucks around for a 60GB... Sure 30GB is big, but this music library is sooooo extensive! And if I go put a movie or two on there, It'll be full already. And when I do go to buy my MacBook, It'll probably be for sale pretty cheap... So if you know anyone.
