Hi Guys,

Bit of help please.

Thinking of getting a Blackberry - Is it possible to get contacts etc to sync with the Mac - preferably using iCal etc?

How does the push Email work with a .mac account? Anyone any comments.

If Blackberry is hopless, any alternatives that can give push Email?

I am in the UK, incase that makes any difference!

Thanks

You can use Markspace.com to get MISSING SYNC for Mac/Blackberry and sync just fine with iCal/Address Book etc. As for Push, you'll need a PC, or you'll need to run Windows on an Intel Mac. I don't believe there is a client for the Mac. A work-around would be to set up the Blackberry to get GMail and have your corporate e-mail forwarded their, your carrier can get those messages to your Blackberry without PUSH...

Don't know about Blackberry, but my Treo 650 (PalmOS) will sync just fine with AddressBook and iCal with no 3rd party apps (using iSync with Tiger.)

It can use USB or Bluetooth (USB being much faster to transfer large files like mp3's and videos.)
