Leonis et al (c4d, shave and haircut?)
I used to hang out at Postforum.com, but I really hate the format...I had a quick look but hell to it.
Anyone got Shave for C4d yet? impressions?
Is it easier to use than dynamics! LOL
I understand its a standalone app, not a plugin, so does it behave well? I see it makes splines, whoa! Can you use the hair textures on any spline, or apply them to polys? I guess it must be a volumetric effect like pyrocluster, does it render as slow therfore.
Actually, anyone got Pyrocluster2. It says it renders alot faster as a post effect, but Im reluctant to upgrade any of my Cinema software until I decide wether I stay mac or go dual athlon (MWNY)
Surely XL8 must be nearly here. I hope they fix the radiosity!

I don't unfortunately
But I know those hair things take a loooooong time to render. The plug in is kinda expensive
