Browser to compete with Explorer 5.5 for the PC?

I need to get a browser which has the functionality of Explorer 5.5 for PCs.

I run a website with a web-based admin suite and I can't post articles on it unless I use an IBM.

Is there any suitable browser for the Mac which would suit?

I downloaded Opera but I can't get it to run (type 2 error) despite allocating 23M of memory.

    Try <a href="http://www.mozilla.org/"; target="_blank">Mozilla</a>.

Have you tried Mozilla or OmniWeb?

I know OmniWeb allows you to identify it as another browser:

Allocating 23mg of ram to opera sounds like he still uses that old OS we all used to use way back in the day.

Get Omniweb 4.1 that is your best bet if you don't want to use IE. The new IE 5.2.1 is way faster than 5.2 . I personally don't like Mozilla, I have used it off and on but I never stick with it I always seem to go back to IE, but than again IE is probably the best browser for the time being.

Well if you're still using OS 9 you're in a bit of a pickle. Try IE 5.1 first, but that probably won't work since Micro$oft has hobbled it. Mozilla is probably your best bet...if that doesn't work give Netscape a try.

iCab is another browser for OS 9, but the times I've used it I was not impressed. But it may do what you need.

I strongly suggest updating to OS X if you've got the hardware for it.
