Quicktime 6

Is anyone else having trouble installing quicktime6...when I go through the installation it quits out right before it is suppoed to install it, like i go through the rights and agreement and what not. Any ideas?

    for me whenever i try and download qt6 final it says that there is some error.... can someone give me a direct link to the download area? <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

    What's really funny is that Quicktime 6 (final) for Windows tells me that I can't play a stream because I need Quicktime 5.0.2 or higher to play some qt streams. ( xXx trailer is one ) That part is really weird.

    I haven't had any trouble upgrading to QuickTime 6 with any of my Macs. What OS version are you using? Do you have any hacks installed that could be borking the install?

    I had no problems at all installing and using the software.

    I just dont like paying $30 for the third time in 3 years

    for PRO.

    oops, I almost sound like the kids on here bithchin about payin for anything new. :eek:

    i'm running 10.1.5 and i have no hacks installed, i mean i used tinker tool and stuff liek that but nothing major

    I have the same. 10.1.5. when even i try and download either the standalone installer or the download file by file installer it ALWAYS give me the "internal.html" error message. Can someone *please* post a link to a direct of either? Thanks.
