Oh, silly me, it's been up this way all along, if you dont have a @mac cookie from before, it displays that signup page.

You can now sign up for a free 60 day trial of .mac that includes a 20 MB idisk and 5 MB e-mail.

Ah good, if I need lots 'o bandwidth, just sign up for a trial!

Not sure what the point of this thread is, but I will say that I hope this 60 day trial offer is used by Apple after September 30 for new Mac users.

I think Apple will include some kind of deal when you buy a new computer, say like 3 months free or some thing. It would be the smart thing but I guess we will just have to wait in see. Right now I noticed when you go though the Apple Store online they give you the option to purchase .Mac so who knows.

I think what the Major is saying that if you want web space and an iDisk, you can get a 60 day trial (every sixty days) and then you can just get a new one, as long as you dont care about losing a e-mail addres it is good. You can download the back up and then re back up

    Good find maJor
