Ok, here is the deal I would like to change my MAC HD icon. What is a good piece of software to do this or can some one point me to a site that would show me what I need to do in my terminal to change it.

Thanks.

You don't need special software to change your icons. You probably will need special software to make new icons. If you want a good site for premade custom icons, goto <a href="http://www.xicons.com."; target="_blank">www.xicons.com.</a>

Once you have the icons files, changing the icons is dead easy. Select the item that has the icon you want. Use get info (command-i I think). click on the icon in the geti-info box and 'copy' the icon (command-c I think), then get info on the item you want changed, in this case the harddrive. click on it's icon in the get-info box and then paste (comand-p)..that's it, you are done.
