Tigerton server CPU is expected to be released in Q3 2007. Tigerton will use a high-speed interconnect technology for direct connection of each cpu to the chipset and is expected to be a low power, 4 core Merom design on a 45nm process using the new Caneland platform. There will be a desktop part named Bloomsfield.

Intel needs better code names. Their CPU names sound like street names in some cheesy midwest subdivision. "Woodcrestl," as in, "Woodcrest Estates," or the subdivision with neither woods, nor crests or hills of any sort.
Couldn't they hire somebody to think up cool code names?

This is overclocking (like playing with your motorcycle engine to gain some more hps or mphs).
This is not the way the chips are planned to be used (by Intel).
I read somewhere that one overclocker did this kind of thing, has been able to take ONE snapshot of the window and that's all, the computer froze there. Nothing else to do with it.
The last info I found says 1066FSB for Kentsfield and maybe 1333 for Clovertown, both at 2.66GHz (and 110W) at launch.
