What's after PCI express ?

Having been bitten in the @ss with PCI to PCI-X to PCI-e changeover and now about to drop more money into capture cards, I thought I'd ask to see if there's something else looming on the horizon.

Will PCIe be around for a couple of years from now ?

Or, will it be superceded anytime soon ?

16x pci-e is the gold standard right now and will be for a few more years. I dont think theres more than one card out there that is saturating 8x pci-e let alone saturating the bandwidth that 16x pci-e provides.

PCI Express 2.0 is coming, but it is backwards compatible.
