.Mac in stores

Does anyone know if you will ever be able to buy .Mac in stores as an alternative to buying it from the apple store.

    Yes, you will. I'm sure someone less lazy than me will post some links, but basically Apple is offering the services as a boxed bundle to their resellers, kind of like Applecare. Should be high margin seller too.

    That's just one. I think Amazon.com sells it too. Didn't someone say that .Mac was offered to retailers for $85?

    I could see this as being an incentive to buy from particular retailers. You know instead of the 'free' (read: $30 for installation) RAM or printer you need a rebate on. At least I hope that's how it turns out...

    $70. That makes it the highest margin (30-points) Apple product available to resellers.
