AI updated my site history while I was reading a message thread

It happened again tonight. While I was reading one of threads AI updated my browsing history and marked all the posts on the site as being read. Thus I lost the tracking of what posts I have read or not read. I expect this to happen if I leave and return to AI. But it should not happen while I am on the site reading posts.

    A similar thing happens to me. I get an email about a reply to a thread I have subscribed to, I click on the link and read the email, and then when I click on "view new posts" instead of getting 3 or 4 pages I only get 10 to 13 threads!

    Hmmm, is that what's happening to me??? All my forums will have new posts...all orange balls...and then I'll refresh my browser and half of them will go gray, as if I've read them. Happens quite frequently.
