Here is my idea for Mac OS X Leopard Help:

dubed "Guided Help"

In Mac OS X Leopard, a new feature should be intoduced to Mac OS X help (and can be built into applications). Basically, on the help article entry there is a button called "Guided Help", which brings the user to the application and uses on screen guided help (i.e. screen dims except around the next step) to help teach and guide people to do something.

Let me give you an example:

HELP TOPIC: DOWNLOADING INTERUPTED MUSIC FROM iTMS

GUIDED HELP:

1) Affected Application is activated (iTunes)

2) Screen dims except around "Advanced" menu.

3) Once the user clicks on the "Advanced" menu the "Check for Purchased Music" become highlighted.

4) Once the user clicks this the guided help is complete.
