microphone for live music recording with DVcam

Hey,



I'm just starting to play guitar again and screwing around a bit on you-tube videos. I am recording straight into a (PC9) DVcam @ 48khz with video as well. The on camera mic is too spacial (if thats the right word). I want to extract the audio files and treat them a bit and need a cleaner recording.



Any recommendations on a good on-camera mic for this application.



Sorry to be a bit off topic. I edit in final cut and soundtrack.
