Problems With 80 Gig Ipod?

Just got an 80 gig Ipod. Screen looks great and all works as expected. One small problem I'm experiencing is that sometimes after I plug it in and it's done updating it won't unmount. I have it set to mirror my Itunes and disk mode is not enabled. I have to manually eject it which usually causes the Ipod to reset itself. This happens only sometimes. All software is up to date, (10.4.8, Itunes 7.0.1).

Anyone else having this problem?

    My 80 gig hasn't given me any problems like that, but then again, I activated disk mode right away when I first plugged my iPod in, so I'm used to manually unmounting it. The iPod doesn't reset when I unmount, it just goes from "Do not disconnect" to the main iPod menu.
