Burning problem

I'm having a strange problem that started when I upgraded to iTunes 7.0 and then 7.01. When I try to burn a CD from a playlist, I get this error: "Disc burner or software not found." I have tried several different playlists and none of them will now burn. I have a G4 (Quicksilver 2002) with a Pioneer DVR-104 burner. According to iTunes' help files, if the burner shows up in the prefs, then it is compatible. It does. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!
