isight - imovie importing?
I've noticed that when I record video with the isight camera using imovie it always has to import the video when I hit stop. Which takes about 5-10 minutes itself. But when I use a DV camera hooked up via firewire and shoot that way, it's fine, no importing needed.
Is there a way I can get it to go faster by not importing? I assume it does this because the isight uses a different video codec then imovie is set up for. If so what codec does the isight use? All I'm doing is putting the video up on the web anyway.
