LaCie Ethernet Disk mini?

LaCie Ethernet Disk mini - 500GB, $249.99 **

I'm looking at this disk to use for backup purposes. Does anyone have any experience with network drives? The main reason I'm going for a networked one is because I have a MBP and I use it all over the house and don't want to have to be connected by wire when the scheduled backups kick off. I'll mostly use it to back up the MBP, but I do have a couple of PCs in the house that might benefit from it too. The wireless network is already existing in the house.

I also looked at this WesternDigital one. But it's significantly more expensive ($399).

They seem to be about the same in specs but since this is my first foray into external drives I thought I'd run this by you folks in case there is something I need to watch out for.

Thanks.

**PS: LaCie's site has been up and down all morning, it may or may not work.

I have the 250GB version of that drive. It works well once you get it set up, I preferrer the setup interface of the buffalo drives better. Like I said though, one you get it setup, it is great.
