Switching Users - Problems With Graphics

When I am logged on my name, and my screen-saver activates, when the computer is disturbed (mouse movement), I got a prompt asking for my password. If I click "Switch User", then it takes me to the main log-in screen.

In this translation of pages, the two screens are depicted on a cube, and the cube rotates to the new screen (like regular user switching, where this problem is not present). The screen shows what appears to be random horizontal lines, with random colors. It looks like a scrambled signal, thats the only way I can think to describe it.

Here is a video of this phenomenon.

Any help is correcting this is appreciated.

I get exactly the same thing on my PowerBook when the password is enabled. I believe, it is caused because without your password the computer is unable to show your screen but needs to for the Quartz 3D cube to work; it is a bug. I haven't noticed it before so it must be new.
