Colors way off on my Powerbook G4 - How do I fix?

I don't exactly know what happened, but my colors are kinda messed up on my PowerBook G4. I tried creating a new display-calibration in the System Preferences, but ... it just doesn't seem to be right. The contrast is way off and the colors don't appear right. With the contrast so messed up I cant even see the curser some of the time.

What is the default calibration---how can I make it back to normal?

If I can't re-set the color to original is there a recommended color sync software that will get it back for me?

I have been struggling with this for some time and need some guidance.

I have a 15" PowerBook G4 1.25GHz on 10.3.9

thanks very much for any input.

go to the blue apple, system preferences, universal access, under the seeing tab slide the "enhance contrast" slider back to normal. if this is not your issue, can you specify more on when this started happening, etc.
