Weird power cord came with Macbook Pro

I just got my mackbook pro and inside the box was the magsafe adapter but there was also another power cord that had a two circle adapter at the end. What am i supposed to use this for?

    Sounds like you are looking at the extension cord that swaps with the two-prong adapter on the transformer brick.

    It took me a minute when I opened mine. But for $2400 they should realyy print an owners manual, when I turned it on for the first time the last thing I wanted to do was read the documentation.

    what do you mean? There is a printed user manual in the box. Together with the install dvds
