Why Mommy is a Democrat
I thought that this made for a great laugh. It does make me wonder though. Is this book a joke or a serious piece of propaganda directed to children? I am leaning towards a joke, but maybe that's what they want you to think!

Subliminal propaganda for children featuring cute squirrels is in fact frowned upon in most major countries.
Aww... But those squirrels are sooooo cuuuute....

But remember son, those are LIBERAL squirrels.
I don't know if I want my child's mom sharing her "toys".
Yeah mummy gives all my hard-earned toys away to hobos and hippies.

Do you have a point?
...for that fundraiser.
Do you have a point?
It's called a joke dude, have some eggnog.
Notice how evil the patrons of the expensive school happen to be in the photos?
Thank goodness I don't know anyone who goes to an expensive school. 8)
Love ya Shawn,

I knew it was for real. What about the intentions though? Is it really propaganda, or just a joke?
What I meant was the author is genuine in his intentions. Just google search for him. He's some sort of progressive activist.

HAHAHAHA! Then on the other hand, that's really scary.
What a bizarre country we live in, where Republican philosophy, if taken to the extreme, approaches fascism, causing hatred, intolerance, and unfair discrimination, and Democrat philosophy, if taken to the extreme, approaches socialism, destroying opportunity and the motivation to better one's position in life and one's self, and individual liberties and rights. Two kids on a see-saw balancing each other out. The R tries to gain the advantage by eating his bag of oreos, and the D tries to gain the advantage by steeling the R's oreos so everyone else can have some too, even though they did nothing to earn them.
Ok, bad analogy.

The elephant looks like he's been downing way more than his fair share of oreos.
I sure hope it's a joke, because as a registered Democrat I'd cringe at anyone giving their kids a book like that. That's more like the disgustingly cloying style I'd expect to see in a "Your Best Ever Friend, Jesus" kind of book that some of the religious right give their kids.
