Installing iLife

I did a search and couldn't find anything about this so;

I have a G4 eMac running 10.3.9. When I try to make a DVD from iMovie it tells me I need an updated iDVD because the current is not compatible. I aquired an iLife CD but when I try to install the programs I get a message that the program could not be installed because one or more of the programs is already running. (I force quit all running prgrams) I can install pretty much any other program without issue except iLife.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
