23" Cinema Display Failing? 30" Supported?
My 23" Cinema Display started flickering yesterday, then stopped. The bottom part of the display now looks darker than the top. If you change the brightness to anything other than max, it flickers badly. The display is about 3 years old.
- Is this about to die?
- Is it worth trying to have it repaired?
I'm using a PowerMac dual 2.0 GHz to drive it (the first PowerMac that came out a little over 3 years ago). Video card is ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. It does have two DVI outputs.
- Will this drive the 30" Cinema Display?
- If not, what's the best video card to buy?
- Anyone with experience with Dell 30" display? Does it have the same requirements as the Apple display?
