iTunes Backup

Is backing up my iTunes library as simple as copying my iTunes directory to a different hard drive?



I noticed that my artwork directory revision date is back in September, yet I added artwork last night and this morning. Just checking - is the actual artwork residing in a directory under the iTunes directory?

    1. That certainly is the easiest way. Another way is to use the "Backup to disc..." option. As I understand it, once you've backed up your library to DVDs, it will only back up new songs the next time you do it.



    2. Your artwork should be in a directory called "Album Artwork". Mine's located in the same folder as my library files.
