connecting my e-mac to a dell

I can't get internet access on my daughter's dell that has a routed line from my e-mac. It was hooked up at a prior residence and I'm wondering if her computer may have been feeding off another person's wireless account. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

    Hi



    check whether internet sharing enables on your eMac. Go to System preferences > Sharing > Internet. Take a look at the ssettings there. If it is not enabled the it may well have been fedding from someone else.

    If so, could the issue be not using a cross-over cable???
