my video iPOD is mac based, i am on the road long term and want to update and upload my music. is it possible for me to do this on a windows based computer without having to reset my iPOD?
Only it might be smarter to synch it on Windows and then update it on your Mac, if you use your Mac more.
That's what I did when I went on the road for 8 months. Get a decent array of battery rechargers - an inMotion novel sized speaker (it recharges the iPod); a portable laptop with a USB cable or a 4xAAA battery charger with a plug to your iPod. Should never run dry of battery power that way...
