Mail.app Attachments

So I'm trying to attach files in Mail and everything used to go off fine, without a hitch, now, whenever I attach anything, the attachment icon shows up as the blue block with the question mark. I tried e-mailing stuff to myself and the files still send, but it's a litte unsettling. Anybody have any clue as to what might be going on? Thanks....

    You may have HTML set off in the Preferences.



    When you right-click on the attachment icon and choose View As Icon, do you see the little icon of a page?

    Well I'm not sure where the HTML otion is in prefs, so I'm pretty sure I didn't turn it off. Also, it won't let me right click on the little block. All I can do is highlight it and delete it. Very strange ... can I trash a .plist file without screwing up my accounts?
