IBM Via Voice for Mac

Anyone using IBM Via Voice in OS X?



I'm interested in the user experience, such as accuracy, etc.

    Is it more accurate than MacOS' Speech Recognition? :eek:

    IBM ViaVoice, running on OS X 10.2.1 with 768Mb of RAM on any Mac bought in the last two years works beautifully after teaching it to recognize your voice (which takes a few hours). I get 98-99% accuracy. The secret with ViaVoice is 1) give it as much RAM as you can afford (at least 256 all for itself) & 2) teach it for several hours.



    Like any complicated piece of software, there is a learning curve. If you're willing to put a little effort into it; you will be richly rewarded.
