Question: How to remove select items from the right-side of the Menu Bar?
Hey.
I know how to remove some of the items by going into System Preferences>Accounts and either deselecting and/or clicking '-' to delete them from the list. But how do I remove the iChat status (icon?)?
I don't use iChat, so I have no use for its status list in the Menu Bar.

Also, how do I remove the Flag/Language selection (icon?)? And if the Language one is removed from the Menu Bar, will the language remain the language it's set to?
Thx.

Hold cmd, then drag the icon out.
That was easy. Thx.
I initially tried control-click (single button mouse) to see if it would bring up a contextual menu, but that didn't work.

The longer route is go to "International" settings in the Control Panel, If I Recall Correctly.... Yes the language will remain the same. The icon in the menu bar is for people that need to open up the Character Palette or switch language inputs on-the-fly.
