Bluetooth intermittently not functioning

I've got a 12" PowerBook that I use a bluetooth mouse with. I couldn't get the mouse working one day and noticed the bluetooth icon was different. When I tried to select bluetooth, my only option was "bluetooth not available." A few days later, bluetooth was working again. Now it's kind of hit or miss--some days it works, some days it's unavailable.



At first I thought the bluetooth radio had died, but the fact that it works intermittently is strange. Has anyone heard of this problem before? Any fixes?

    It could be that the bluetooth module has come loose somehow. Also see if the bluetooth firmware is upto date which may also be of some help.
